Extra Curricular ACTIVITIES

1.     Personality Development Programmes

• Communication skills including, improvement in spoken English and personality development classes are arranged for all students.
• Training is arranged on Live Projects for the students to enable them to gain the first hand knowledge and meet challenges faced in real life situations.
• The Personality Development Program Cell is fully equipped with a modern high-tech studio laboratory.
• Mock Interview sessions are arranged along with group discussions. 

2.     Seminars, Guest Faculty & Industrial Visits

In order to abridge the gap between theory and practices in the Corporate world, the Institute arranges seminars and conferences on current topics. Guest lecturers from diverse industries are invited to share their enriching experience with our budding managers nee students. Eminent personalities from various backgrounds such as the Manufacturing industry, Export units, FMCGs, Management Institutions, Financial Institutions, Philanthropists and successful entrepreneurs have delivered lectures on  Goal Setting, Global Meltdown, The Global Financial Crisis, Approach on Choice of Career. Motivational lectures on Self Retrospection and Personal Development through Conceptual, Emotional and Spiritual discussions are conducted  to make the students aware of the expectations of the Industry from MBA students.

The Institute has a mission to mould these young girls into thorough bred professionals and hence believes in organizing Industrial visits to different organizations to expose them to the `real – corporate world’. The students have been involved in visiting various organizations and thus garnered considerable experience in the methods of the professional world. The Institute arranges Industrial visits to business and industrial establishments so that students could gain hands-on knowledge/experience for their functioning. There is a board headed by the Assistant Director looking after such activities.

3.     Presentations :

The Institute provides a platform to the students to express themselves confidently through Individual Presentations. The course curriculum has been divided into different units and a set of students are selected to give a presentation for each unit. A Presentation is organized amongst students of the same batch on completion of  each unit of a subject, thus giving an opportunity to every student to speak-up in front of a gathering.  The students are  encouraged to participate in a professional method with the use of relevant technical aids as LCD Projectors, OHPs etc. The short listed students are once again required to compete with students of different batches and they are awarded accolades according to merit. This ensures a healthy competitive environment amongst the students.

4.      Celebration of Jayantis at Mewar Girls Business School

We inculcate the sense of patriotism and unity among students by celebrating the anniversaries (Jayanti) of our great leaders/freedom fighters and social reformers. Therefore the celebration of Jayanti of National and Spiritual leaders is also an integral part of our co-curricular activities.  The year commences with the Birthday Celebrations of Swami Vivekananda on January 12th each year.  Shahid Diwas is celebrated on March 23rd to commemorate the Birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The birth anniversaries of Maharana Pratap, the great warrior of the Rajputs, Veer Savarkar and Chhatrapati Shivaji are celebrated to instill the essence of nationalism amongst today’s youth. Ambedkar Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti,  Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, Swami Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti and Madan Mohan Malviya's Birthday is celebrated with great enthusiasm and the students share their views about these great Indian personalities who have made it possible to mould us as independent citizens of an independent India.
